There are stronger storms now that have exceeded those noted in this post.

AURORA, THE NEW DAWN

The Carrington Event was a powerful geomagnetic storm back on September 1-2, 1859. A CME hit Earth’s magnetic field and caused the largest storm on record.

It was observed by British Astronomers’ Richard Carrington and Richard Hodgson. The storm caused auroral displays and damage to the telegraph system.

It is said that if it happened today, it would cause widespread electrical blackouts and greater computer malfunction. It would cause massive problems.

The auroral displays were said to be of indescribable softness and delicacy that seemed to envelope everything upon which it found rest. Each color gave way to another more beautiful than the last. It was reported as a scene of almost unspeakable beauty that saw nature at her best. Many thought it to be a preview of the last days.

March 1989 — A geomagnetic storm knocked out power across a large section of Quebec, Canada.

July 2012 — A Carrington class solar storm with solar storm with solar flares and CME’s were observed and missed the earth.

November – December 2020 – Sunspots AR2783 – AR2790 erupted on the sun. Solar flares were reported. AR2790 caused a CME aimed at Earth.

January – May 13, 2021 – Sunspots AR2791 – AR2822 erupted on the sun. Many Solar Flares, CME’s and Solar Tsunami’s have been very active causing radio blackouts and Auroras’.

Just like tornadoes and hurricanes, Solar Storms have the size of the storm predicted from 1-5, 5 being the strongest just like tornadoes and hurricanes.

We have been very lucky. They have been too small to cause any major electrical problems. The real threat is how much radiation is being poured into our atmosphere. The last one with sunspot AR2822 is a G class 3, the largest we have had.

*Radiation — Studies have linked Cosmic rays with Cardiac Arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. The risk of radiation in the air is true. Air travel is more prone to radiation because the higher you go the stronger it gets. We know the affects of radiation from cancer patients are headaches and nausea. Pay attention to any sickness you may have on solar storm days if you have to go out.

Definitions:

AURORA — Dawn, the early period of anything.

RADIANT — Shining brightly, filled with light, showing joy, well being, etc. Issuing from a source as in rays of light.

Any storm comes from above and always brings cleansing eventually in some way. What was happening in 1859? It was on the brink of the Civil War. I believe the Lord heard the cries of the many who were mistreated as slaves and He came down to set them free. It was the dawning of freedom for the African American people in this land.

Why would He do the same thing today, sending us a solar storm? I believe we are on the brink of His second coming. Each day there are new signs pointing us in that direction. He will reign over all the earth in righteousness. He will wipe out sin and wickedness, and all the earth will worship Him (Zech.14). How beautiful will life be!

Jesus is the Light of the world. (John 1:4-5) The Sun represents Jesus. We need the Sun to grow our food. We need the Sun to light up the darkness. We need the Sun to keep us warm. The Sun is packed with power that affects our life and survival.

Without Jesus we would all perish. He is the answer the Heavenly Father provided to make a way possible for us to be with Him forever. He sees into our heart, soul and body and knows the cause of every pain we feel. His eyes are as an x-ray seeing every part of us. Nothing is hidden from His eyes.

Hosea 6:3 So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the greatness of the Lord to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him. His appearing is prepared and is as certain as the DAWN, and He will come to us (in salvation) like the heavy rain, like the spring rain watering the earth. AMP

Remember the definition of Aurora is Dawn. The solar storm is rather disturbing but beautiful. The Northern Lights or the Aurora is basically a rainbow showing up in the darkness of the sky after a storm. How beautiful is that. It all goes back to the cross. He endured the most painful night of any whoever lived because He would do anything to keep from losing us.

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to mind. KJV There will be no more weeping or distress but joy and rejoicing. Goodness will triumph over evil. The definition of Aurora is Dawn and the early period of anything. These storms are not your average storm. And they are coming more often and are growing. This is a new thing. He is setting the stage for His return!

Can we imagine Jesus reigning over all the earth with the Glory of His Beauty and Unfailing Love? This is truly the Dawning of Something Very Beautiful! This is the Dawning of the freedom of mankind!
