NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH

1John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. KJV

11Peter 3:13 But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide. Amp.

When we think about the end of the age and the coming judgment, it can be disturbing. What we need to see is that He is doing away with the old and bringing in the new. His purpose is to cleanse the world from all evil and sin.

He will create a perfect world where He will reign in all His great majesty, honor, glory, beauty, power, might, goodness, and holiness. What motivates Him most of all is Love. How beautiful would life be if the leader of the world would be motivated by love? His agenda would always be unselfish, seeking the welfare of His people first. Goodness would reign supreme.

What would life be like in a world with no evil, no depression or fear, no greed, no hatred? Can we really grasp how wonderful it would be?

We should focus our thoughts on the new heaven and earth and how really perfect things will be. We are living in such a great hour as Jesus is revealing Himself to His people as He rises mightily to shake the earth. EARTHQUAKES — VOLCANOS — SOLAR STORMS — MAGNETIC FIELD DAMAGED — The signs are here. We are blessed with the opportunity to worship the Lord and experience more of him and His wonderful presence and glory than at any other time.

Isaiah 35:1-6 says the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose because of the glory that is being revealed. The deaf hear, the blind see and the lame man shall leap as a hart. What a great joy and blessing. Our deep hunger and desire for our beautiful Bridegroom will be fulfilled as his presence grows stronger and stronger. His people shall greatly rejoice, while those who have rejected Him are being cast out.

All we can say is “EVEN SO COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS.”
