Revelation 16:18 says, “…and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake and so great.”
It is so great that all the mountains have left. Between Rev. 6 and 16 the Lord has poured out His wrath and has accomplished what was prophesied in Isaiah 42:15, “I will lay waste mountains.”
Isaiah 40:4 says, “Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill be made low, the crooked be made straight and the rough places plain and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed.”
He is not only changing the earth physically but spiritually. He is changing the way things will be done and getting everything ready for His government to take over as He comes with His saints to rule and reign for 1000 years.
He is wiping out the evil and preparing His Church to be established before Him blameless and at peace amidst all the devastating chaos and destruction. We must remember that His Presence is where we are safe.
Psalm 91 says, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty…Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night…nor for the pestilence…a thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.”
