DARK MATTER
Dark matter and Dark energy make up 95% of the universe. The difference between the two is gravity according to the experts. But that is basically all they know about dark matter. What is dark matter but darkness? What does the Bible say about darkness?
In Matthew 22:1-14 there is a wedding. In verse 11 one of the guests does not have on the appropriate wedding garment. In verse 13 the king said to the attendant to tie him hand and foot and throw him into the darkness outside; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.
DEFINITIONS
Darkness – OT-c) misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness, withholding the Light, hide.
Darkness – NT-c) obscurity
Obscure -d) dim, dark gloomy, not easily seen, not clear, distinct, not easily understood, vague, hidden, not well known.
The definition sounds like dark matter — or outer space — is the part of the universe that the Lord has not revealed the meaning of to man. It is a place of torment because it is without the Light or separated from the Presence of God.
In Genesis 1:26 Man was given authority over the earth alone. He was not given authority over the sun, moon, stars or the universe, outer space or dark matter. This is why 95% of the universe is basically unknown to man. We are not supposed to know about subjects we have not been privileged to know about.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God prepared, formed, fashioned and created the heavens and the earth. 2. The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was on the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving, (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. 3. And God said Let there be Light; and there was light. 4. And God saw the Light, that it was good —suitable, pleasing—and He approved it; and God separated the Light from the darkness.
The darkness has and always will be a bad place. He created the heavens and earth so He could dwell with the redeemed of mankind. He is Light and will create only new heavens and a new earth. It says nothing about Mars or the planets. It says we have no need of the sun or the moon because the Lamb will be the Lamp.
John 12:46 I have come a light into the world, so that whoever believes on Me — who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me may not continue to live in darkness. Amp.
The Bible is making it clear that the darkness is a bad thing and we need the Light for survival. Jesus is the Light and always will be. Where He dwells is Light. Where He is not is darkness. It is that clear!
