This photograph obtained by the James Webb Space Telescope (Near Infrared Camera – NIRCAM) reveals previously known as “Pillars of Creation,” a picture of stars being created from dust and gas in much greater detail. You can see in the second photo (the newer photo) how many more stars are revealed by the infrared camera.
This is in the Eagle Nebula which is part of the Milky Way Galaxy. The report says Webb is able to see the Pillars against the thick band of our galactic home, which obscures the view of the more distant universe. I wonder just Who is doing the blocking?
