GENESIS 24:60
60. And they blessed Rebekah, and said to her, You are our sister; become the mother of thousands of ten thousands, and let your posterity possess the gate of their enemies. Amp.
This is a picture of the Holy Spirit and how He works. Abraham sent his servant to find a wife for his son Isaac. They did not let their children choose their mate. They knew it was more important to let the Lord choose as it would affect their posterity. They had faith to believe the Lord was with them in their actions as He was greatly in control.
They did not force Rebekah to go with Abraham’s servant. She could still say no. She had no idea what Isaac was like, but she went. She had faith to believe this was God’s will for her. They all prayed about their future. When you put your…
