ISAIAH 35:1 The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad, the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose and autumn crocus.
2. It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the the Glory of the Lord and the excellency of our God.
The wilderness is where the Israelites went after their slavery to Egypt. It was a time the Lord set apart for trials so that the people would become a refined people of God. It is the same today. We must endure the wilderness lifestyle if we want to become overcomers. That is the place where we grow strong enough to face our own walls of Jericho and enter into the land of promise and fight overcoming battles.
This promise belongs to all who make it their own but it is especially for the last days. Verse 4 says, “Say to those who are of a fearful and hasty heart, Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”
Luke 21:26 Men swooning away or expiring with fear and dread and apprehension and expectation of the things that are coming on the world; for the very powers of the heavens will be shaken and caused to totter. Amp.
So many will be afraid of all that is happening. The only explanation will be that this is the end. The Lord will have His people in place and ready to say fear not, your God will come and save you. He will open the eyes of the spiritually blind and they will see and know the truth. He will open ears and do mighty things. There will be great rejoicing among His people. For soon the sky will open and He will appear!
The Lord will reign forever and ever! COME LORD JESUS!
