Glory — c) splendor or copiousness
Copiousness — d) abundant and plentiful
Abundant — d) more than enough
The Lord revealed His glory to Moses in Exodus 33&34 by revealing the abundance of His goodness and character as He walked by. His glory is all that He is. Moses made haste to bow and worship Him. We have been given access to His presence and His glory by the blood of Jesus. In the last days He promised to reveal His glory in Is. 40:5, 24:23 and Matt. 24:30.
When I think of His glory, I think of His holiness and purity that allowed Him to live without sin that only He could do. He suffered more than any other and never held resentment against His enemies, never complained, never lost patience, never showed fear, never lost faith or trust in His Father as He endured the painful cross. He never gave into a single feeling that was wrong though tempted as we are.
That makes Him worthy of the Name above all Names and to be worshipped throughout all eternity. No one but He could do that. That is so beautiful to me. He alone is worthy of all our love and respect forever.
Ephesians 3:16 That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;
Ephesians 3:17-19 say that we can have the power of that glory, love, strength and be filled with Him to the fullness and become wholly filled and flooded with God Himself. Verse 20 says He is able to do above all we can dare ask or think – above our highest hopes or dreams. What a beautiful thing He wants to do for us.
That is why we are blessed more than the angels. We were created in His image and He wants to give all that He is to us. Hebrews 2:16, Genesis 1:26-27
This world and all its best does not come close to the wonder, beauty and love that He is more than willing to pour out into our hearts. He is so far above humanity that we cannot fathom His goodness. We settle for so little when we could have His best.
In these last days He will spend a year giving out His rewards to those who have sought after Him. He will reveal Himself at this time more than He has in the past. Isaiah 61:2 speaks of the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of His vengeance. He will spend most of His time blessing and a quick work of judgment.
His presence will grow stronger and stronger on the earth as He reveals His glory and Himself. That will cause more and more of a shaking of the elements causing a fire that will cleanse the universe but destroy all who have rejected His more than wonderful offer of a new and glorious life with Him. 11Peter 3:10-14
Revelation 21:4-5 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
