A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by fire and the smoke and the sulfur (brimstone) that poured from the mouths of the horses. Amp.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ISSUES G3- STRONG GEOMAGNETIC STORM WARNING MAY 12, 2021

*The solar storms are getting stronger. Sunspot AR2822 has caused the most potent solar event since May of 2019 causing a CME to impact the earth. G-3 is the strongest so far in 2021. This causes electrical problems and damage to the magnetic field that protects the earth from the cosmic rays that are shooting out from the sun.

UNPRECEDENTED SEQUENCE OF SOLAR FLARES — MAY 23,2021

*Sunspot AR2824 has caused a series of 12 solar flares unlike anything we have seen in years. These are explosions on the sun. CME’s shot off in many directions with only one heading toward the earth. Again we are spared from what could have been a great disaster. Still. each time the earth is hit by a CME there is damage to the magnetic field that protects the earth.

The experts still are not concerned.

WHAT IS PROPHESIED IN THE BIBLE ABOUT FIRE FROM HEAVEN IN THE LAST DAYS?

2Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the material elements of the universe will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.

2Peter 3:12 While you wait and earnestly long for — expecting and hastening — the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the material elements of the universe will FLARE and melt with fire.

2Peter 3:13 But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide. Amp.

I have read this scripture for many years wondering just how could the heavens possibly be on fire. I remembered in Genesis when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, the Lord rained on them with fire and brimstone from heaven. Ex.19:24

Now it becomes clearer with every solar flare, every CME and every Volcano that we are so close to what Peter was saying. So how do we prepare for that day?

Ex. 19:27 Abraham went up early the next morning to the place where only the day before had stood before the Lord.

Luke 17:29 But on the very day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

Luke 17:30 That is the way it will be on the day that the Son of man is revealed.

Luke 21:36 Keep awake then and watch at all time (that is, be discreet and ready) praying that you may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things taken together that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of man.

Abraham was not in Sodom and Gomorrah like Lot was. He was watching from a distance while he was praying for Lot and communing with the Lord. He was in no danger. So also must we be in the habit of seeking the Lord and standing before Him in our worship and ministering to Him. That is what prayer is all about. It conditions our soul to be able to be in His presence and not run the other way because of our sins. We must seek Him everyday or our sin nature will lead us to Sodom and Gomorrah.

The definition in the Greek for “stand” is abide, establish and continue. The Lord promises that if we keep His commandments, He will establish us. Deut. 28:1,9 It also comes from the root word “stereos” meaning solid, stable, steadfast, and strong. It also comes from the root word “histemi” which is the definition for star, which in Rev. 2:28 He promises to give the overcomer the MORNING STAR which is that wonderful Name of Jesus. He really is coming soon. What glorious days these are!
